WE ARE MOVING THE CEREMONY!!

Due to unpredictable weather, we are moving the wedding inside for your comfort and enjoyment(and so we don't get dumped on in rain). We will be holding the ceremony at Tenth Ave Church located at 11 West 10th Ave in Vancouver (2 blocks away from Main and Broadway on the corner of West 10th and Ontario). We will still be getting married at 12 noon and there will still be a reception to follow at 1pm.

For those of you that missed the cut off for us booking you in for a discounted rate at the Ramada, I have good news. If you call them and let them know that you are a part of the Friesen or Shannon wedding(they have at least one of these names on file) they will give you the special rate if they still have availability. If they don't seem to be able to do this for you then give us a call and we will call the Manager and get this rate for you. Thanks

Accomodation in Our City

Ok, so for those of you needing to book your temporary digs for The Day, here are a few suggestions of hotels in our local area and very close to the main hub of activity at Metropolis Metrotown. Which by skytrain is about 25 mins from the downtown core, for a little sightseeing and such.

Ramada Inn & Suites Metrotown

- This is the hotel of choice for our guests as we are working on getting a special rate for the incoming hoards of family and friends - very exciting. Please let us know of your travel dates and we will be able to let the Ramada know, so as to ensure your stay. We will get a corporate rate at $100.00 per night for a suite (bedroom, living room and a kitchenette) and $90.00 for a room.
